Great place to stay. Clean, pads are paved and wide, lots of room between campsites. Bathrooms were good as was the shower house. We've been there twice in 2 years and will go back.

Nice quiet park, even though it was very busy. Our site was very "tail down". It worked for us, but might be tricky for other campers. This park is 30 min from anywhere. Plan on a drive if you go to town. Also, there is a museum but it's only open on Saturdays, and we already had plans so weren't able to go. We'll stay there again, mainly because our daughter lives in Lawrence.

Had a nice visit. Got a place next to the river and dam area but could not walk down to it. It had rocks all down the embankment. Very big park and had a paved walking biking path that went for miles back by the boat ramp. Lots of trees on the path.

Great campsite, plenty of space. Grass was mowed and the campsite was clean and taken care of. The boat dock was right down the street and easily accessible.

Nice, well maintained campground. Some damage in restroom. Although it appears to have lake access from campground, the lake is not accessible. Located near other attractions: fishing dock, swimming beach, parks, others. Nice views of dam, Lawrence, KU campus.

We loved our view of the lake from our camping spot. The only draw back was the amount of bugs that we got at night..whoa! No matter what we did we always had hundreds of them in our camper. But-it was camping, so we expected it. We have already have reservations for another spot next week. It was well maintained and everyone was great.
