We camp at Whitehorse 1-2 times ever spring. It is a peaceful, beautiful spot. I highly recommend the C loop for tents only. We can launch our kayaks and keep them on the beach there. The camp hosts are incredibly kind and do a great job keeping the campground clean. The Black Bear Shack is so convenient if you have forgotten something or run low on ice. We will continue camping here for as long as we are able!

Stayed in 58C- camp hosts Lise and Dave (?), were so friendly and helpful- checked on me ( I was camping alone) . I appreciated them being there! Such an asset to my experience- be back again for year 3!!

More information on canoe and paddle board rentals. Also have half the bathrooms closed wasn't helpful once more people arrived to camp.

Setting is wonderful. Saw javelina, deer, osprey, Canadian geese and a multitude of orioles and songbirds. Fishing was poor, however. Bathrooms were decent. One ding: Neighbors can be a distraction when they don’t follow the rules, but that is normally a rarity.

Favorite spot close to home. Wish the 'Tent Only' sites had a bit more space between them. Hosts were great. Wish campers were more consistently courteous about noise levels early in the morning and later at night.

Well maintained and immaculate campsites. Clean pit toilet buildings. Campsites are a bit close together, but not elbow-to-elbow. Appropriate level of interaction with the host. He made you feel welcome but was not intrusive. Shoreline access creates the ability to leave a kayak on the shore, which a much better than having to load and unload with each use. Was concerned that the boat rentals and food concession would create a more commercial feel, but that was not the case. This was however a mid-week stay..
