A beautiful site, well maintained, quiet and clean. It was great to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings

Kaibab Lake is a beautiful and clean campground and we enjoyed our stay. We did have issues with the reservation process, though. The online site map did NOT show one of the restroom locations. I selected our sites based on not being near a restroom but the sites were directly across from a restroom. We had an opportunity to drive through the campground prior to our reservation date and that is when we saw that the sites were located next to a restroom. I then went online to select new sites and cancel the original ones. Rec.gov was good about issuing a refund but only for their portion. Recreation Resources of America, in Lakeside, AZ, was a different story, however. After they initially refused to issue a refund, I phoned them. The man I spoke to was rude and condescending and refused to accept ownership of anything that Recreation Resources was responsible for. After a long and frustrating conversation, he said he would look into it and get back to me. I did eventually receive my refund but never a return phone call from him. As far as Kaibab Campground goes, we would definitely return.

We had such a nice time staying here! Our double site was nice and spacious, and pretty tidy for our arrival. I appreciated the proximity of the restrooms, and of course, loved how close the walk down to the lake was. It was very dog-friendly, large family-friendly, and very clean. What a beautiful place! We will be back in the near future for sure.

The site is clean, the lake is close. The campsites are very close together which we were not expecting from the map and photos. You can hear other campers conversations.
