Clean and quiet campground. Was only there for one night and didn’t get a chance to fish, but the lake was easily accessible for fishing and there were about a dozen or so people fishing from the bank. The site that we had was very large and would easily accommodate a large rig. I will likely stay again in the future.

Very nice campground with paved road and sites. Sites were spacious and fairly level. Lake levels were low, but observed some people fishing.

We tried to find a campsite a few days before Labor Day Weekend and had very little luck. We finally saw that one opened up here and we didn't research it a whole lot prior to booking just so we could get our spot. We are so glad we did! We arrived on a Saturday afternoon and the spot was perfect - very private and secluded and the campground was completely sold out. There was a good mix of RVs and tents, and lots of people brought dogs - we had ours with and he was so good. The lake was gorgeous - no swimming, but fun to fish with our kids. We have 3 kids 10 and under and they had a blast. There are pit toilets and TP was replenished quite a bit. The camp hosts were constantly out and about making sure everything was all good - which was really nice! The bathrooms had no running water - so bring some wipes if you are tenting it! ;) We did bring a little toddler potty for those middle of the night bathroom needs, and that was nice. The town of Williams is about 5-10 miles away and is adorable. Two breweries, lots of cute shops and restaurants, and a historic zipline. It was busy, but it was also Labor Day Weekend. We went for a hike on Dogtown Lake, and it was OK, but not a lot of shade. We probably should have hiked around Kaibab Lake - much more beautiful. The cell service was pretty non-existent - my husband and I both have Verizon. At night it got pretty chilly, so check the weather if you are tenting it - it was very welcome though after sweating out the summer in Phoenix! Overall, a great experience, lots of fun memories and a great way to relax while still roughing it. We'll be back!
