Best of everything! Great restrooms and wide open campsites. Camp host are simply awesome. This has to be one of my favorite locations even close to town.

Aera very quiet and calm. It was a greatful experience. The lack of water is dommageable.

I believe this is a very good alternative to the overcrowded camps in Grand Canyon Village. It is spacy and well organised. Each reservation (depicted with your name on a label) has a pretty large location available solely for itself, including a table with benches and a campfire circle. So definitely, you will be not sitting on other people. And it is pretty quiet the camp, with elks arriving in the morning. :) Also, there was a campsite host available during my stay, so I could ask some questions or for a help, when needed. There is water available in the campsite. However, it is located in a central point, for refilling your tanks only. Toilets are latrine-type (a modern version, though), so, take a torch with you during the night. There are no showers or bathrooms with running water. For those who need them, they should go to Grand Canyon Village, to the campsite there. There, in a specific location is a showers place, where the showers are available on charge BUT NO LATER THAN 9:15 PM. At the same time there are "shower" solutions in tourist shops. It is like a bag with water that you can put on a tree and use it as a shower. I think, when equipped with such a mobile shower, the TEN-X campground is a good choice. Especially it is located just 2 Miles from Tusayan (where are bars and shops) and around 10 Miles from Grand Canyon Village.

The campsite is large and you are not too close to your neighbors, which is greatly appreciated. Bathrooms were very smelly in the summer, but nothing to be done about that because of the heat. It just is what it is. Only thing that would be nice is a sink for washing dishes. Overall, a good, basic campsite for a good price. I would stay again.
