We stayed at sites S11 and S12. It was a clean and quiet place. At dawn, the Milky Way looked amazing here. The water spigot is about a 510 minute walk from here.

Tusayan Campground was an excellent experience. The campsites felt private, with plenty of space between neighbors and a peaceful setting. One thing I really appreciated was the good shade provided by the trees throughout the campground it made a big difference during the warmer parts of the day.The restrooms were also impressively clean and well-maintained. The only downside is that theres no showers.

Spaces were roomy and facilities were clean! Very quiet and nice camp ground, with some decent pull-thru spaces. No hassle hosts too!

This campground is one of the most beautiful in Arizona. The trees are plentiful and all sites are very roomy. The sites are spaced quite far apart so you have the privacy you would like. We loved the proximity to the Grand Canyon without being in the middle of the crowds.

Nice campground with good space between sites. The original campsites have good shade on average while the new sites don't have very much shade. We were in Raven loop and had good shade. The campground was almost empty which is extremely unusual during the summer. Even Mather in the Grand Canyon S Rim area looked almost empty. Lots of choices now. Montaine/Ten-x is less expensive, but Mather is in the park, you appear to have your choice now. We hiked a set of forest roads from Montain 3.5 miles into Tusayan. That trail is not a well marked trail but we were never that far from the road. So 7 miles round trip. We stay in Montain/Tenx almost every summer, it is well maintained and clean and has camp hosts.

Best of everything! Great restrooms and wide open campsites. Camp host are simply awesome. This has to be one of my favorite locations even close to town.

bathrooms were smelly. They weren't emptied with the 9 days we were there. Water was only available at the entrance.

The campground is beautiful with very spacious sites. Close proximity to Tusayan and the Grand Canyon.

The campground was very nice, clean restrooms, and very quiet. The sites are spaced pretty well, and there are trees, so some shade (although it was obvious that a lot of trees had been cleared.) It was extremely surprising to be there in June and have the campground almost vacant. I don't understand a National Park like the Grand Canyon being so low in attendance. But it made for a quiet, albeit very HOT week there. The location is very convenient and very easy to find. I highly recommend the bike trail from the roundabout in Tusayan into the Grand Canyon. It is outstanding -- paved, with an elevation gain of about 500 feet over the 7+ miles.

One of the best stops on our 12 stop trip. Really enjoyed the National Forest. Not crowded, very well managed and kept.

Raven loop is the best and site 22 is the best on that loop. The sites are huge. You could put several tents on it .

Very nicely maintained campground. One location for water and dumpsters. Hosts were all incredibly friendly. We were one of a few campers in the entire campground and it was amazing. Not very buggy and temperature was great in the shade.

Camp hosts were fantastic, they made sure we understood the rules of the camp, but didn't micromanage us like many camp hosts we experienced. They also kept the bathrooms clean and were very friendly!

Beautiful setting. Spacious sites. Long pull thru site B20. Clean and well maintained bathrooms. Friendly section hosts. Eady in and out. Will return.

Overall, the campground was very nice. It is located 10 miles from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. We were surprised how empty it was. There were many sites available. There are many pull-thru sites. The loops are one-way, and when you pull in, some campsites have the fire pit and picnic table on the wrong side. There is only ONE place to get water. The water spigots are located by the campground dumpsters.

The campground was beautiful. The host was very friendly. The second night we stayed at the Elk Loop FCFS. We discovered that people were leaving their money in the box near the main bathroom. I think the camp host in the Elk Loop needs to be more viligant about checking the box. Many people pass the area where you are suppose to pay not knowing to stop their first. Maybe a bigger sign?

B05 was pretty good. Close to the toilets and relatively flat.

Wonderful camp ground. These were the best can toilets I have ever seen. These were cleaner than most gas stations. There were very few people actually camping but most spots were reserved. Very quiet and beautiful. So close to the Grand Canyon.

We were in the Black Bear loop, which is a spacious and very pleasant space. The camp hosts were amazing, very friendly, and kept the place super clean - picking up trash, cleaning picnic tables and fire rings, and keeping the pit toilets spotless.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
