We stayed here during Labor Day weekend and its possible that every campsite was reserved. Even though it was a busy weekend, there is enough space between each campsite. The toilets are clean, easily accessible, and do not smell (although theyre full of flies). I noticed that others had complained about a lot of yellow jackets, but I only saw two. As others pointed out, if you are not familiar with this camp site, you definitely have to arrive during daylight in order to find your campsite, as the number signs are very small and can be difficult to find at night.

We camped here in early June 2022. Very quiet area, a few times it seemed we were the only campers at the site but also many folks didnt show up for their reservation. It was over 100F at Grand Canyon but here it was about 93F. At night it would drop to about 45F.There were often elk near camp and a lot of bird sighting opportunities. Coyote also travelled through a few times.

Great quiet location close enough to the grand canyon! Had to drive in each day we went but we went in early in the morning and were able to get up close parking! The campground hosts were also very helpful!

Very secluded. No cell service. Trails nearby. Perfect camping weekend.
