Best campground in AZ. Love the camp hosts always there if needed.

Great time, good access to Grand Canyon and the town just north (can't remember the name). Only problem was following the path to our campsite. There are a few windy roads through the park and its not hard to get on the wrong path. A few reminder signs would be helpful. Plenty of room for our stuff, friendly staff, beautiful forest - loved seeing an elk in the park.

A very nice campground. Lots of privacy as very few sites were taken on May 14. Lots of space between sites.

We chose this campground because we needed a campsite that accommodated our 32 RV and tent camping for a friend. This campground was perfect. The sites are large and the campsite was quiet. The camp hosts were very nice and even alerted us to some free wood for our nightly campfire. There were several warnings about construction and the possibility of noise. Occasionally we heard the fain sounds of backup bells but rarely. It is very close to shopping if you need to pick up last minute supplies and only a 20-30 minute drive to Mathers Point Visitor Center in the Grand Canyon. The only thing that would have made it completely perfect was if they offered a dump station on site, but even that was easy because an RV park in the nearby town was able to accommodate that need for us for a minimal charge.

Bathroom is disgusting and filled with flies, if you have any option don't stay at this campsite

My family and I love - LOVE - this campground. The location was convenient and our actual site was perfect. We were able to observe wildlife from the comfort of our chairs as a herd of moose meandered onto the campground. This is a peaceful place. There are no large crowds and the sites are spaced far enough from each other. The only downside is the bathroom situation. I would describe the bathrooms as nice modern "outhouses". But because the campground is so close to town and the Grand Canyon, we were able to shower regularly and comfortably.
