The campsite was well maintained and we were not packed close to other camp sites. The camp hosts were excellent people. The site has no electricity or water so it was important that we were allowed to run our small generator from 6 AM to 10 PM. This is because I needed to charge the batteries on my wife's bipap machine and oxygen concentration machine that she uses only at night. Additionally, across the road and down a hundred yards or so is a Chevron service station (closed but gas pumps were operational) as well as a restaurant/store. A bit further along is the local ranger station.

Great campground. Friendly hosts. Not too far to North Rim. Check out the Jacob Lake Fire Lookout just down the road.

An absolute wonderful place to camp. The camp site we were at was a very cozy spot with plenty of room. The trees were incredible and it really is a secluded place to be. Sure you hear some cars and semi trucks go by on occasion, but that’s very easy to over look.

The hosts were very Pleasent and clearly care for both campers time there as well as the campgrounds themselves. Wry well kept and clean. And yes, that definitely includes the bathrooms. Very very clean.

Truly the only down fall for our experience was the weather. Our first night it was suuuuper windy. That would have been fine, even the thunder was ok. But then the lightening came, and out of our tent my wife and I went. Right into the front seats of our Prius haha. We felt so bad that we had to leave the next day because of that. That being said the hosts Sandra and Pam were very kind and understanding.

But hey, if that’s the worst we could go through there then it must be an awesome place.

Cannot recommend this place more.
GO THERE!!!

This campground is good for a quick stopover on your way somewhere else, or if you have an RV. We had a pickup truck camper, so, we ideally would have liked a bit more trees or private campsites, but this site doesn't really offer that. The bathrooms are really clean and the site itself is kept up really well. We don't have complaints about any of that.
