Campsite and location were great. I would have given 5 stars, but quiet hours were not being enforced. Some loud campers were singing and playing music until midnight on our first night there. Still, it's a great location in North Kai Baby Forest, easy access to the Grand Canyon North Rim, and lots of wildlife.

This campground is in a perfect location for the North Rim (Widforss hike!), in a beautiful wooded setting with those long rolling meadows alongside. The bathrooms were spotless, it was quiet and peaceful on the campground, and the night skies were gorgeous. Cold in August during the night, bring blankets! Coffee at the little trailer 10 minutes walk away was an added bonus. Dinner in Jacob Lake at the diner was good (25 minute drive). Thank you for being reliably open when the North Rim campground stayed closed.

This campground is awesome! Beautiful location, and pretty far from the main road. It is so convenient to camp here to explore Grand Canyon National Park North Rim and the surrounding Kaibab Forest. I would definitely camp here again!

DeMotte was clean and the sites were well-marked. Our site was marked with our name and the dates which made it even easier to find our spot. It is a quarter mile off the road to the grand canyon about 25-30 minutes before arriving at the North Rim. There are quite a few deer wandering through the camp in the grassy sites. It is a beautiful little clearing.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
