Beautiful camping spots, very clean bathrooms, an amphitheater, and hosts that stopped to make recommendations and share a map of the north rim. A wonderful place.

The area was very well maintained. Camp hosts Tim and his wife are wonderful ambassadors of the system. The restrooms were spotless!
Thank them for me, please.

Clean pit toilets. Clean campground and very nice hosts. Very happy to see the aspens starting to turn.
I hope to return

I'm not a very experienced camper so I don't have a lot to compare it to but the positives definitely weigh out the negatives. We camped on Labor Day Weekend so yes it was busy, we had a nice spot though the neighbors had fairly loud sounding generators on til just before 10pm and they promptly started them back up after 7:30am. The positives were the night skies were beautiful and full of shooting stars, and we sat peacefully watching them along with keeping warm at night with a campfire. The night sleep in our tent was about the coldest I've felt in a long while definitely but it was wonderful to breath the cool and fresh air. The Camp hosts Tim and Cheryl are very caring wonderful people and really watch the property over and gives you a nice comfy feeling. I definitely would love to go back as I truly enjoyed my time at DeMotte campground.

First of all, kudos to the camp hosts -- Bob and Melody Evans and Tim and Cherly Hanson! We (and everyone else we spoke to) were very impressed with how clean the vault toilet restrooms were...they almost sparkled! Second - these wonderful hosts also made a concerted effort to keep the campgrounds cleaned up and confirmed that the fire pit ashes were cold at each site when the campers checked out.
Our site was beautiful and located close to the north rim. The campground stayed quiet and peaceful all day which made for a restful vacation.
If you value a uncrowded environment, I would highly recommend booking a site here instead of staying at the north rim campground.
We would stay here again and hope to come back sometime in the aspens in all of their fall beauty before Demotte closes down in mid October.

Loved the campground and my site. The views of the mountains and stars made my trip. Loved the two ranger talks in the evenings.
