very quite - beautiful night skies. It was a good alternative for the North Rim Campground we did not get in. We stayed with a 30 feet RV.

Spot was level. Bathrooms were clean. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Perfect spot to boondock for a few days while exploring the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. We enjoyed our stay here and the liked the proximity to the park entrance.

The campground is clean, well maintained, & vault toilets are remarkably clean, as well. The camp hosts were friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely site (#7) and enjoyed our stay. Kevin, the park host, was very helpful and friendly.

We had a great 3 day stay while we visited the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Our site was spacious and fairly level - site 13. Water was available to fill jugs but not to fill RV tanks. No dump station. Clean pit toilets. Lovely tall pines. No phone service or wi-fi. Convenience store at the nearby gas station if you forgot anything. Pleasant campground host. Would stay here again. Half hour drive to the rim Visitor Center & Lodge.

This was the only dry camping site during our week-long trip, and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The site is very convenient to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, and the campsite is situated among beautiful aspen and pine trees. The campsite host was pleasant, and our camp site was ready for us. It was quiet, and we enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely consider staying there again in the future!

If you are looking for wooded, roomy sites this place is awesome. Quiet, serene natural setting. The sites were almost like 2 sites in one with a separate area for campfire and picnic table. Many of the sites are not level but most can overcome that. I did not go in the bathroom so I can’t say whether it was clean or not. We would definitely go back. The only negative is that all sites are dry sites and they do not have a dump station. We are good for 3 days so that is how long we stayed and we dumped at the next stop.

Good jumping off point for North Rim. Super clean vault toilet bathrooms!

Cleanest vaulted toilets I have ever seen! The whole campground was well maintained and on a beautiful bit of land. About 25-30 min to visitors center (depending on Buffalo herd). Hosts were friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this campground to others and return when we are in the area.

DeMotte is a wonderful alternative to the North Rim campground. Smaller, far quieter and cleaner. Close to the entrance station and actually closer to the Angels View road. Restrooms are kept spotless by the personable, helpful hosts. Highly recommended!

Quiet lovely setting with plenty of room for our 32 foot motorhome. Site had nice picnic table, grill, and enough woods to shield from neighbors. Hosts were very accomodating, allowed us for a small fee to drop RV for the day and use our friends' car to get around North Rim. Superb!

Very clean

Demotte was a beautiful campground conveniently located close to the Grand Canyon North Rim and a local grocery store. I would say the largest downside to this campground is that there were no showers or proper sinks. However, they did have the cleanest bathrooms that I saw on our entire trip. So thankful to have stayed here during our trip!!

Nice spaces, lots of reservable spots but lots of walk ups too. There were open spots every night we were there. Wish the generator hours were more like 8-10 and 6-8 or something instead of all day long....
