We visited within the first few days of the season opening. The campground was well prepared and we enjoyed our stay. FYI, there wasn’t an Rv dump or water fill-up station in the immediate area that we could find I.e. come prepared. There is a nice store and gas/diesel station close by. The campground is a good 12+ miles from the N. Rim visitor center. We liked the simplicity and solitude of the North Rim. All-in-all it was a very positive experience and we would like to return.

This beautiful campground is clean, quiet and in a beautiful setting. Each site is somewhat private and has a picnic table and fire pit. The location is perfect for exploring the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and the Kaibab Plateau.

great spot, but it seemed like the campground hosts were never available.

The campsite was spotless, the bathrooms cleaned several times a day and very clean. The hosts were very personable and helpful. This has become one of our favorite campgrounds.

The campers across from our site were loud which influenced my review. It was a SMALL lot though. The fire pit was literally right up next to the table. Some of the sites were larger though. It had the road on two sides of the site, so we could hear every car coming and going. Very rocky ground.

Lovely spot close to the north rim (15 min.). We loved the quiet and seclusion. The closest campsite to the north rim at which you can make a reservation.

Great location and campground hosts! Just outside the North Rim entrance station with a nice store across the street for supplies.

There were swarms of bees and wasps by the bathrooms and everywhere, which made it dangerous. I was difficult because we had several frightened small children. My grandson got stung on the last day, which was traumatic. My husband got stung while cooking and it was pretty annoying. But worst of all, I was trying to avoid a bee and fell on a rock the first day and sprained my ankle and got a painful bone contusion (I went to the doctor when I returned home & had a $300 co-pay). We still enjoyed it and the campground was very nice.
