What an amazing camp! The scenery is unbelievable. Yes sites are tight ,but if tent camping plenty of room and there are only camp bathrooms ...still the best !

Great camp ground, Site 94 is tiny and uneven. Just barley enough flat-ish ground for a 2 person tent

The entire campground is so unique with its boulders and rock formations. The nature trail inside the park features beautiful landscapes, cacti and desert flowers. Site 94 had boulders right behind the campsite that can help block the wind because it can be very windy. Safe to say only 2 tents can fit. Bring a tarp because there will be no trees for shades. Nonetheless, its a beautiful site.

Campsite was quiet and clean, but unlevel for parking an RV. Bring plenty of blocks. Plenty of level area for a tent.

Roads a little bumpy. Toilets could have been a little cleaner.

The campground was empty yet on the site is showed almost all sites reserved during the time we were there. There has to be a better way to release these sites or impose stiffer cancellation . Again I will stress the campground was empty yet your site reflected something entirely different

We love the high desert. Especially in the Fall season. Being in Indian Cove gives us easy access to both entrances to the upper park (Jumbo Rocks and Hidden Valley). Very close to Twenty Nine Palms in case you forget something.

The campground has really nice campsites although the parking spaces can be small. The biggest issue is we never saw the camp host once and multiple people had loud gatherings until late at night. We even heard something explode which we think people were throwing camping propane canisters into the firepits. We also saw many people violate the occupant limit per site causing a back up of cars on the side of the road. The pit toilets were not clean when we arrived. If the camp host was more present, it would have been a much more pleasant stay.

Indian Cove is a wonderful place to experience the amazing rock formations in Joshua Tree. I would recommend planning to spend at least half a day just hanging out at the campsite and walking the nature trail; we spend the better part of 2 days there just enjoying nature!

Site 94 was smaller and very slanted - didn’t look like that in the photos. But it is a great campground!

Was an amazing time. Great views when you climb the rocks and super easy to navigate. Seemed to only be enough room for our 4 person tent. I wouldn’t recommend using more than one tent.

Had to do a bit of repositioning my 13' Scamp trailer in the space at site 94 as my leveler only adds 4", which wasn't enough on my 1st couple of tries, but finally got it level so could run my absorption fridge.

Zero cell reception, so didn't have to deal with any calls about my cars extended warranty :-D (If i needed signal for any reason, it was a short walk to the head of the nature trail, which had a view of the valley, and signal).

Site 94 is on the west side of the canyon, so no direct sun after 2:30 in February - had to make sure my solar soaked up all it could in the mornings and early afternoons - but did get enough to run my ice machine to make enough for my iced coffee and waters.

This is one of the best loops in the park because it has great afternoon shade. The site is not level so getting our trailer settled was difficult but we managed. Would definitely pick this spot or 95 again.
