Our site (018) was perfect. Secluded behind a rock even though we had neighbors staring the parking and camping on the other side of the rock. The campground location is easy access to the park entrances as well as town.

This is a great campground and we have camped here many times over the last 20 years. The only issues we've had would be noise from other camps as most of them are close together ..but I'm sure we've been the noisy ones sometimes. Site 18 was a pleasant surprise as it is very private facing the open desert. You have to carry everything from your car but didn't mind. We may have felt the wind more at night than in some of the more sheltered sites but it was worth it for the privacy.

3 spectacular full moon nights. Open desert from the site. Acoustic pollution from 2 sites over the rock mound with large party was intrusive at times. Nice folks just oblivious to back country etiquette. Otherwise much peace and quiet for me and the pup.

Really nice spot secluded from other campsites but not too far from restrooms.

Nice campground and really gave you the feeling of the desert. I knew in advanced that there was no running water in the campground, so we brought larger bladders to fill up at the entry (which should be widely advertised). We had camp site 18 which was great. The site was on the other side of a large boulder from other sites and gave great solitude and openness while other sites were on top of each other.

My husband I loved this location it was secluded but at the same time it wasn’t. We can’t wait to reserve another spot here

Site 18 is quite distant from parking to fire pit
