It was stunning! Being able to camp right next to the rock formations was magical. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. We had a short one night stay, we set upCamp and just stayed and explored. We didnt even need to go into the park it was so nice!

Absolutely gorgeous campground. It's very nice that it's so close to 29 Palms and so many good hikes. The bathrooms were always clean and full of toilet paper, all of the sites seemed very clean as well.

Stayed at Indian Cove Campground for one night before moving over to Belle Campground. Our spot in Indian Cove Campground was quieter and better for stargazing than Belle. It did require more driving to get to major hikes and sites though.

Wonderful site, removed from the hubbub of the main loop through Joshua Tree. Quiet neighbors, beautiful moonlight, a fantastic experience.

Great site for my setup and great scenery. Many reviews mentioned the boulders, they are something to be mindful of, but the large one facing East is great at providing valuable shade in the former half of the day, and also blocks some of the noise from the obnoxious band of hooligans that may or may not set up shop in the site next to yours with their six vehicles and at least a dozen people, as they did in the site next to mine. Other than those fools next to me making noise until 2am, it was a great time. Keep in mind that you are a minimum twenty minute drive from the park entrance in Twentynine, though.

Site 15 has quite a few boulders in it which makes walking around a very mindful task. The tall boulder has some workable bouldering routes though! Trash and toilets were great services to have - thank you.

Campsite 15 has zero space for tent. Camp host came and walked right into our campsite and started looking around which was weird. He said the space was for a small tent. I said we have a 4 person tent and reserved the spot for 4 people. Site said max 8 people. There was maybe room for 1 cot but not even a 2 person tent. So we pitched our tent in the parking spot which was big enough for the tent and our car. There is no mention of a max size tent on the site. Pretty sure it says 2 tent max. Then the table is right next to the tall boulders on one side and a huge rock in the ground on the other so no way to get around the table to the fire pit without tripping on the rock. The bbq is in the bush so if you’re taller than 5’ you can’t cook at it. Just a really weird, awkward and unusable site. Some sites there are awesome but stay away from #15

Remember to download an offline version of the map to have navigation. A general rule is you will have signal on asphalt roads, none one dirt roads and trails. Stater Bros nearby, Walmart is ~40 minutes away, so no worries if you forget something.Bathroom (outhouse) and dumpsters are a short walk away.Indian Cove is not connected to Joshua Tree roads, you'll have to drive out of the campground, and ~15 minute drive to either North/East entrances.

There were some 25 to 35 Russian speaking people camping adjacent to my site, with about 8 cars illegally parked. They were still partying, shining their lights on my camp site, and playing loud music when I packed up and left at 2 am. Never a park ranger to be seen the entire time. Zero enforcement of the rules I go out of my way to follow.

The campground was beautiful, and the facilities were very well maintained. Highly recommend the nature walk - we saw so many animals!

My campsite was beautiful. Perfect for me and my dog. My only complaint was the dirt super highway that ran right along my site #15 cars were going 45 mph + back and forth. That I did not like at all. I think something should be done to make people aware the speed limit is still 15mph right there. Open it up after the gate.

We camped during the week, so the campground was almost empty. Most of the sites were marked not available, though they were never occupied during our stay. When reserving our site online, few sites were available for a small rv. The site we got was small, difficult to level and close to the dusty road. This was a frustration that colored our stay. The park is beautiful, rock formations all around.
