Clean and non smelly restrooms, beautiful nature, very calm area, sky is full of stars at night. It was our first family trip to desert and we even couldnt imagine it would be so peaceful, quiet and amazing

The weather was perfect and the site was how I expected it to be.

Site #010 was awesome! We were skeptical at first being that we were towing our small pop up tent and read instructions saying the turn around is too small… but it worked out perfectly. The site is tucked away in a cul de sac so there’s hardly any vehicle traffic. 10/10

Indian Cove is the best that Joshua Tree has to offer. The campsites are are a little bigger and not as LOUD as the ones in Joshua Tree.

Great boondocking campground. We Airstreamed in October, and it was very secluded. We stayed 3 nights and there were only 2 other parties that were in the 4 campsites around us, and they were just overnighting. Beautiful rock formations, lots of climbers during the day. We actually observed a company of Marines learning tactical climbing on the other side of our "rock pile". Sites are fairly level. There is no water or power, of course. The toilets are pit toilets. We would drive in to Joshua Tree National Park during the day.

Easy to find the campsite and ample parking for two cars, really enjoyed camping here!

Great spot with ample space between sites compared to grounds inside the park

We booked this campsite for a last minute trip to Joshua Tree and it couldn’t have been better. It was a great site with a beautiful view - even got to watch the sunrise from the tent. Only downside is that it’s not directly connected to the rest of the park, but I think that ended up being a benefit because it was quiet and allowed campers more space.

Great campground, beautiful views, bathrooms were reasonably clean, Ranger was very helpful.
