Indian Cove was a fantastic campsite and the surrounding area was gorgeous. It was nice and quiet although the parking was tight.

Area was beautiful but campsite was on a dome shaped mound. Not flat at all.

Site isn't suitable for any vehicle. This should be a walk in site only. Campground otherwise was fine.

Indian Cove is one of my favorite places to camp. I come 2-3 times a year. It had been increasingly more and more difficult to get a camp site. It if you’re lucky to grab one it’s worth it.

I booked a site in the regular campground and a massive outward bound group was camped right next to me. One of the leaders had their bed in my site. Definitely not a quiet night. The group of 12 was not overly loud, just a lot of them talking and so close to me made it hard to relax. The smoke from their fire was blowing straight into my sleeping space. Definitely no peace or fresh air for me! I thought it was a 6 person maximum in the regular sites?! Guess that maximum does not apply to outdoor ed groups.

Love this campground! It's by far my favorite in Joshua Tree but just a note about the specific spot I stayed (site #91) -- it's not very accessible from where you park to the fire and table. You have to walk up a little hill about 30 feet away from the parking area. If you're tent camping it's not a big deal and it's actually pretty secluded and set back from the rest of the sites and road, but I have a roof tent so it wasn't my favorite spot considering the walk from the tent to the fire and table area. My stay camping in Joshua Tree is always amazing so I really don't have anything to complain about -- just that one note. Fun times!

Great campground with a beautiful view! Our spot (#91) was a little windy, but had lots of space and a great view. Bathrooms were also very clean and the nearby ranger station had a water fill station.

Indian Cove campground is so amazing. It's our family's favorite way to experience Joshua Tree. Our boys love to scramble on the rocks and we all love to go up to the nature trail and see wildlife in the mornings and evenings. The campground is generally quiet and sites are spread out enough to give ample room.

Everything was awesome as always, except for the restrooms. They were dirty, smelly and with the flow of campers, should off be clean everyday.

The campground had plenty of space (we were tent campers) and I appreciated how clean the bathrooms and the rest of the camp was.

I have always loved this campground. This trip was a short overnighter, but perfect to recharge. Coffee I'm the morning up on top of the big rocks is just amazing with the sky just putting on a show as the sun rises. And the starry nights are fantastic. This campground is clean and people keep it quiet for the most part. Trails are right around the corner or you are a short drive away to get into the NP.

Great campground and campsite. Our site was pretty big, relative to other campsites that we saw, and had plenty of room to spread out without intruding onto anyone else's space. 091 is next to 092 and 093 on one side, a hill behind it, and a road about 50-75 ft. to the other side. The only downside of our stay was some of our neighbors, which is not the fault of the campground or the campsite layout (PSA: if you are going to listen to music on a speaker while camping, please pay attention to the volume of the music and respect the designated quiet hours). It's only a 10 minute drive to Twenty-nine Palms and a 15-20 minute drive to either of the north Joshua Tree park entrances. Very convenient and well laid out campground. Also of note: site 091 does not have natural shade for most of the day, so I recommend bringing something to generate shade if you intend to be at the campsite during the day.
