Cool spot. Clean, and plenty of rocks to climb nearby.

Loved this campsite (#78) and campground. We had two (2 person) tents and had plenty of room. It was nestled in the rock formations and it was really cool looking. Although we were fairly close to other campsites, there was enough vegetation and rocks in between us that it was totally fine. It was also very convenient to the bathroom. I could get 1 or 2 bars of signal on my phone, but it went in and out though if that's important to you. (AT&T). The only drawback to this campground was that although it was technically inside the national park, you had to drive back out to the highway and enter the park through the gates to access everything - trails, sites, etc. The campground was really nice though so it wasn't a big deal. I would definitely stay here again!

Campground itself is gorgeous. You do have to drive about 20-30 minutes to get into the main entrance of the park from the campground. Site 78 and nearby three sites are small and cramped. Barely room for a small tent and the tightest campsite I've been to- your neighbors are on top of you, so zero privacy. Other sites in the campground are much larger and private. Picturesque surroundings though.

We arrived at night and left before daylight so I can't really say a lot about the site except it was easy to find in the dark and the restroom was conveniently located and clean with plenty of toilet paper. From what we could see, the campground was very scenic. Just wish we had a little more time there, but we hit traffic on the way from LA and didn't make it in when we anticipated.

Great site, clean, love the rocks around the area. Not actually in the Park, don't have to pay.

Always awesome. Very busy but people were nice. No ranger/camp host came around that I was aware of. Ranger/camp host station was closed.

No dogs on leash on trails was a surprise. I understand the reason for it but didn’t notice the restriction from reading the online Joshua NP info.

Great site for camping, scenery is exceptional. I was in site 78 and a little surprised how close the neighbors were. The tents were only about 30 or40 feet apart. If everyone is quiet no problem, but a group of late night talkers keeps everyone awake.

Campground was peaceful and calming. A nice place to go to get away from the norm

Family camping at Indian Cove was awesome. The boulders surrounding the sites act as natural barriers from the winds. Our little ones (ages 6-8) had so much fun scrambling on the rocks that were right behind our sites. Overall this is one of the cleanest camp sites out there. The only drawback is that it is not connected to the main park but if you go in knowing this, it's really not that big of a deal.
