End site with a neighbor on one side. Very short walk to bathrooms/dumpster. Kids really enjoyed climbing on the rocks. Enough space for our 16ft (expanded) popup trailer and our station wagon car. Our popup did hang over some of the rocks a little.

Rangers are friendly and helpful. We were in Site 75. The nearest bathroom door handle was broken. Someone tried fixing it but it still didn't work. Also, a stray cat wandered into our site and apparently had been reported several days before we arrived. We spent a lot of our time figuring out what to do and finally took it to the animal shelter in Twentynine Palms ourselves.

Beautiful campground, amazing rock formations. Bathroom door handle was broken and door could not be closed for privacy otherwise great campground.

The spot was great besides the fact the restroom was not cleaned after a few days. So the smell from the restroom was not pleasant and we could smell it from our camp. Also the campsite next to us was extremely close based on other spots we have been.

Campsite = spacious
Toilets = clean
location = close to city limits (2 miles) and can find regular stuff at Indian Cove Market (convenience store) easily - fire logs, milk, eggs, etc

Super cool campsites all nestled into magnificent boulders. Will definitely be camping here again!

Shower or shade area would be great given the daytime heat and sun.

Great camping site for beginner campers. You’re in sight of other campgrounds but it didn’t feel crowded (possibly because some campsites were off limits for covid). Pit toilets, lots of rocks to scramble on, nice fire pit/stove/picnic table at most sites. Bring your own firewood though!
