Nice small spot for 2 small tents, campfire protected from wind by rocks.

Indian Cove campground was a wonderful surprise! Our campsite was literally in a quiet cove of just two other campsites. We set up our tent facing an impressive wall of rock. The quiet was heavenly. This immediately became one of our favorite places to camp. If you are looking for a place to just kick back, relax, gaze at amazing stars, all undisturbed by cell phones, this is the place!

This campground is spectacular and is our favorite out of the 3 spots we have camped in.. Each site is set in the most magnificent backdrop of boulders with plenty of room away from neighbors for privacy and space to spread out a little. We loved the nature walk in particular and highly recommend booking this site if there's availability.

The views here are stunning! We loved climbing the rocks and just chilling. Even though it is a dry camp, water is easily found at the ranger station or in town. Great place for the family!

Great site plenty of room for a 6 person tent. Parking was easy and close to the site. Its a tad close to site 65 and they complained about our music at 6:30 PM, Chuck Mangione too loud, come on, oh well we had a great experience anyhow. This is one of my favorite site in Indian Cove now

I have come to Joshua Tree around 5-10 times to camp and this has definitely been my least favorite trip. Indian Cove lacks the same magic other campsites like Hidden Valley or Cottonwood have. It is outside the park, difficult to access activities inside the park, and has no joshua trees. The campsites are also particularly small (Joshua tree doesn’t have the largest of sites but this was the smallest and most crowded by far). It also smelled like feces the whole time since the bathroom was incredibly close and made us all lose our appetite. Overall, I’d highly recommend coming during the week and leaving early to snag a spot at Hidden Valley over reserving a spot here, it’s worth it!

Everything is great. Rangers are nice and toilets are clean.

Amazing natural beauty at this campground. It exceeded expectations. Only improvement that could be made is more frequent bathroom cleaning. I don’t think the toilet was cleaned during the 3 days we were there.
