Setting is spectacular. Didnt realize it did not connect to the park. No enforcement on site reservations. Traveling light and did not leave anything in camp. Came back late in the day and someone else took my site. Did not want to cause an issue so I found another empty one and waited to ensure nobody was coming. Outhouse was not the cleanest. Still enjoyed my time there.

Beautiful area. Bathrooms well maintained. Dumpster D6 was overflowing with garbage for several days. Even after garbage truck came through there was garbage blown all around. Nearest campers didn't seem to care. We used a further one. Observed many people not obeying the speed limit. Not even close. That also occurred throughout the park. Got passed twice even though there was a double yellow line.

Great views from most sites. Toilets very clean. Some camp sites were too close together for my taste.

Clean restrooms, orderly and modern facilities, clear rules. Honor system seemed to prevail: check-in consisted of parking at the reserved site. Entry station often closed, but list posted of expected campers. And what rocks! Visitor Center at Oasis was. Really Good. Spend some time there.

Peace and quiet at a campground. Often sought but rarely achieved. My time at Indian Cove has always been super mellow and a great adventure, simultaneously. A lot of climbing potential. Rattlesnake Canyons slot canyon is nothing short of amazing. Megacryst boulders, trippy and unique. Bathrooms, clean. Hell yes.

Indian Cove Campground was not originally our first choice, but it should have been. It was a very beautiful area that provided plenty of personal space (from other campers making it covid safe) that included a good walking distance to the bathroom, a fire pit/grill, and two parking spots per site. During our visit, we enjoyed climbs on the rock mountains, walks along the paths near our campground, and star gazing.

Beautiful location, tucked in amongst rock formations. The nature trail at the campground is lots of fun, too! Very windy out though, if you're in a tent, make sure you weight it down.

Camped at the peak of the Leonids meteor shower but the skies were not that dark. Very windy in the early morning!

I've always loved this campground, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. We stayed November 3-5 in site #60, which is large, isolated, and has a great view of the nearby boulder hills. It's on the shadeless side of the rocks so definitely bring an easy-up if you stay in this site. Unfortunately on this trip, we discovered human feces, used toilet paper, and full dog waste bags hidden amongst the site. With a bathroom and trash cans within view and a short walk, we were scratching our heads over why anyone would be so lazy and disgusting. Rangers really shouldn't have to be on the lookout for this sort of mess. We did a walk-though before leaving and picked up all the trash we could find. On a different topic, we 4 unrelated adults were camping in separate small tents to be COVID-friendly. 2 park employees came by told us that no more than 3 tents were allowed per site, and could be spaced no further than 25 feet from the picnic table. As the group organizer and avid rule-follower, I had scoured the recreation.gov website in advance and did not find any of this information listed. I would like to request that the recreation.gov site be updated with this information so that well-meaning, nature-respecting folks like us could prepare accordingly (no one likes being told they're doing it wrong). We took care not to disturb any vegetation with our tents or feet.All-in-all, it's a beautiful place and the access to rock climbing is great. We will be back again and look forward to a time where the facilities are running at full capacity.

The ranger volunteer that met us at the check in was extremely friendly and informative of events. She also took the time to learn more about our visit. THe facilities were also clean and all the campsites were well maintained.
