Had a great time, made sure to pick up any extra trash the last campers left behind :)

Love this campground. Pros: closer to stores than the other JT campgrounds, there are data spots even though not in the campground, lots of roads to walk and great rocks. Cons: lots of rock climbers, you can see and hear a kittle of town (if that's an issue), and I can't think of anything else. This site is large but not all of it is level. You can get two smaller tents or one large tent on the more levels any area (bring the right stakes), and more if you don't mine a slant. Near restroom.

Excellent location with great views. The nearby nature trail is great for those wanting a short hike with lots of informational posts. My camp site wasn't very level for car camping. It was well shielded from the winds which can be very strong. Highly recommend.

Our first visit to Joshua Tree was unforgettable and primarily due to our stay at Indian Cove. Sleeping among the stars and the large rock formations was amazing. Some spots were a bit too sandy for staking down a tent, especially during the extreme desert wind, but there were plenty of other rocks available to use to weigh down our tents. Overall an amazing visit and would definitely come back.

Awesome campground and sweet deal with all the climbing in the campground as well!

I loved our campsite, however this campground is pretty far from the park. If you don’t mind the drive, I would recommend it. Campsite was very spacious and private. It was less crowded (compared to jumbo rocks on the same weekend).

It is a nice campground with scenic hills, however there is no shade and it is extremely hot and with no flush toilet and or water not even a sanitizer it is not so convenient, however there are picnic tables provided but no attendant and office is closed

Restrooms were well stocked and clean. Campsite was clean. Everyone was pretty respectful of quiet hours. Had a good experience overall. Would definitely go back.

Some spots get really windy, like the one we were in. It was also pretty uneven but overall very enjoyable. Definitely recommend bringing air freshener, toilet paper (they normally have a lot but just in case), and hand sanitizer or hand wipes. The front tent camping spots are super small and close but the campground is very spread out and seems to keep going! The west entrance to the park is down the street and this camp ground is the closest to a town I’ve ever camped. The cell reception is very spotty depending on the spot so be aware.

Indian Cove Campground:
1. Love the setting against the boulders.
2. Bathrooms are kept clean.
3. Dark skies.
4. JT attractions are nearby to explore.

Indian Cove is a great campground, very scenic, but don't forget to bring your own shade

Great place but a little hot and dry.

Very pleasant stay with wonderful views of the rocks. My campsite (32) felt fairly private, although I was aware of my neighbors. Slightly uneven terrain but a decent tent spot. Picnic table, fire pit, parking spot all included. Nearby toilet but no water. There is no cell service (as is true in much of Joshua Tree).
