Nice spot with close access to boulders and restrooms.

Beautiful scener all the rocks are magical. I wanted to give a 5 star review but I was disappointed how deceiving the map was about how close the sites are. It felt like we were sharing a camp site how close site 30 is.

One of my fav campgrounds on the planet! We loved site 29. You do have to walk your stuff over from your car, but it is very private.

Fantastic spot to camp and climb, but unfortunately the previous campers or maybe climbers decided to deffecate on our camp site having a bathroom nearby. Twice. Huge mounds of feces. Told the rangers who were checking camp tags, but they said they don't take care of that at all. Maybe someone should.

i had site 29 and it was absolutely amazing. i was a bit jealous of site 30 because they literally had a cavern in their site. it was really easy to navigate the campgrounds. all of the sites before 29 are veryyyyyy small. like 1 small tent. lots of rock climbing opportunities. so much fun !!

I appreciated that it was a less crowded and busy than the campgrounds off the main road. It provided a new view of the park and the quietness let me relax under the stars when the clouds cleared out. The bathrooms were conveniently located and the campgrounds were clean and well-maintained. Because the campground is not as deep into the park as others are, you can also get reception if you need it in a pinch for communication. It's not necessarily for internet usage, but you can send a text message and possibly even get a phone call. No complaints, and highly recommended. Just don't tell everyone and let them know! :)

We used #29 for two nights in January 2023, the site was fine for two small tents but it had more room for bigger tents. The parking was good for two cars though we have only one. The bad part was the toilet, the restroom close to us was out of toilet paper and the floor was not clean, and we definitely can smell it from our site.

A great place to camp if you're climbing in the area, as classic crags with classic routes are within minutes of walking from your site. Some sites have a route just meters from your tent!

The campground is fantastic. The spot we stayed at really should have a different parking area, because you walk through another area's campsite to get to site 29--it was awkward. The reason for the lower rating is the people. My daughter experienced a horrible event. A German Shepherd charged my dog, knocking her down and landing on her. The folks who owned the dog were overly relaxed about my 6 year old being knocked down and cut up by their dog. The rules are dogs on leash. I have a very friendly lab, and my dog was always on leash. Another major complaint is with people having their generators come on all night long. There are RULES about the times they can be run and they were blatantly disregarded, leaving others to hear the noise all night. Not cool. Lastly, people drive like it's a race arena throughout the campground, making it unsafe for us to walk around. Again, it was all about the people--people losing sight of how to be respectful to neighbors and fellow campers. I miss the days when this was not a national park and just a monument and no one knew about it. I wish people cared more about everyone's experience, not just their own.

Beautiful area but the toilets were disgusting. We had visted many pit toilets along our trip and these were by far THE most disgusting. The smell was horrendous and it's not even summer. Previous campers at our site left two plastic bags of ash from the fire pit and the pit could still use some digging out. So there is some maintenance issues here.

quiet and relaxing. Spent 3 night in a tent. Windy and cold one night but pretty well protected with the large rocks nearby. Fire pit was well placed and was nice to sit around one night. We were there during a full moon cycle, so most of the stars were a wash out.

The Campground was clean & raked, restrooms were clean & maintained. Campground was Full! Glad we had a reservation. I use Reservation.gov 5-6 times a year; I'm always happy with the ease of securing a campsite for a specific site on a specific date anywhere in the US. 5 Stars!
