Great campground surrounded by giant boulders. No electric or water and can get windy.

Beautiful place but nearby hikes are lacking. Maybe it was due to the shutdown but the place seemed a little lawless. We never saw a host or Ranger or anyone else in 2 nights. Thursday was fine but don't go Friday nights if you like sleep, there was multiple sites blasting EDM until 1 am and no one to enforce quiet time.....

Nice campground. Clean and well maintained. Some sites are not too level so, if traveling in an RV you should plan to bring lots of leveling blocks. Vault toilets are clean. Fairly quiet but a few campers running generators outside of posted hours. Great climbing right in the campground.

Quiet, clean campground. Staying among the huge boulders was a magical experience.

What a stunning location! What an inaccurate online reservation process!! We reserved Site 11 for our 25 Class C RV with pictures showing a large level area around the fire pit. On arrival, we immediately found out that the back-in length was maybe 10 long with large boulders preventing any further backing. The parking area had a ~5% grade while the fire area was as perfect - for tents. We drove the campground and looked for sites that hadnt been reserved according to the website. By the time we found a few that would fit us and attempted to reserve, they came up as reserved, as did Site 35 that we had reserved for the following 2 nights. To our frustration, the sites that would have fit us were never occupied! This has happened repeatedly with the Reserve America reservation system. This is a stunning campground setting and it would take only a little blade work to make sure that most back in parking was reasonably level. Im fairly certain we double paid for our first night at Indian Cove and will likely receive a fine for not showing up in Site 11, which I was unable to cancel at the last minute. Please see my review of the next two nights at Site 35.

Beautiful place with opportunities to Boulder among the many wonderful rocks throughout the campground. Pretty basic facilities however nearby (10 miles) shopping...

Amazing stargazing from the campground. Kids loved the rock climbing right by the camper.

Easy to find, close to stores like Vons, Walmart, so no need to panic if you forget to buy something. Very clean, well maintained. The area is very beautiful and a sky full of stars. Very quiet.

The Indian Cove campsite was beautiful, but just make sure when you make reservations you aren't next to a large group site. The only reason why I rated it "Fair" is because our designated campsite was in the middle of a High School Grade level group of over 100 people. It was loud and not peaceful at all. It would have been nice to get some warning or an option to change our campsite location.

I was a little worried about this campground since it is a bit on the outskirts of the park. Boy was it amazing!!! every campsite is nestled into the rock formations that surround the campground. We stayed in site 21 with our 24 ft travel trailer. This is a really big site! It is a big campground which makes it really fun for biking around or taking long strolls. We drove through Jumbo Rocks (which I initially wanted to stay in) and found that we liked Indian Cove better. The ranger at the visitor center told us that in the spring Indian Cove has waterfalls which would be really cool to see. It was a bit of a drive (20 min) to get to the inner part of the park but we didn't really mind besides this is definitely a park you have to drive to get to all the various points of interest. We stayed 11/2-11/4 - the weather was amazing 80 degrees max during the day and didn't get too cold at night.

The campground is clean, quiet and beautiful. There was no place to check in, but my site was reserved so I guess it didnt matter. I stayed two nights and left during the day to visit the park, leaving my tablecloth, a jar of flowers and a rock I had painted on the table. It was all gone when I returned, so I advise not leaving anything in the campground during the day if you plan to leave your site. I was in a 24 RV with plenty of room.

Campsite 21 is to close to neighbors I was in 21 with a decent view Then new neighbors in 20 way to close then blocked my little view with travel trailer along with one aggressive dog On top of that no park rangers around camp host motorhome was there but no response so I just ending up leaving for home Seems the state of California Keeps ripping my money out of my pockets with no recourse and or reasonability

Loved the views. Site worked but rocks blocked getting a camper close to camp site. Will come back!
