Such a nice, clean campground. Our site was spacious and it was so much fun watching the rock climbers.

Loved this campsite, isolated and nice sunshine (might be less appreciated when its hot). Day use area mostly quiet, just a few climbers and most climbed farther away.

Great location with shady corner and good top ropes right behind it. Unfortunately, a major climbing guide company set up 2 of the three days on the series of cliffs adjacent and behind our campsite. This site is next to the day use parking area. They did not ask before setting up directly behind us, but later corrected their lack of courtesy. Close to two vault toilets but no so close you hear the banging doors.

Amazing spot against the rocks. Felt very intimate and private. Highly recommend.

As a first time camper, camping here at Indian Cove was AMAZING. The vault toilets were something new to me, but they were manageable. I was glad that I was able to fill up my water tank at the ranger station so I had water for the next couple of days. Stargazing was the best part. I am also glad this location was not too far from town in case we needed something from the store. Overall, it was an incredible experience and I cant wait to come back.

Campsite 7. Absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful UNTIL the pre-dawn thumping of "music" from someone's speakers as they pulled in next to us for a day of rock climbing with 75 of their buddies. We tried to hang tough and roll with it but the F-bombs became to frequent and our campsite was getting overrun, so we eventually bailed and made the long drive home.

No camp host on site. No water. Huge site. On the rocky site of Joshua Tree. No actual Joshua trees in sight.

Beautiful campsite set against climbing rocks. No issues.

Fabulous spot. Our site #7 needed some maintenance to make it more level and to remove a stack of wood debris which looked like a pack rat nest but otherwise an idyllic night.

Great spot for camping, hiking, and apparently, rock climbing. I don't rock climb, but there were people all over climbing rocks. One spot was right next to our camp spot, so if you're bothered by that, do your research on the sites which don't have climbers hovering over your spot. Didn't bother us, but to each their own!! It's a little more crowded with people than some of the other spots I've been to, but still a great place to visit and camp. They have a handful of very minimal bathrooms around (non-flush). There are so many camp spots in Joshua Tree, so definitely going to continue checking out all of them. Cheers!!

We stayed in site 007 and I admit that when I heard there was a day parking area for climbers next to the site, I was concerned about privacy and noise. Turns out that it was an awesome experience! Yes we had climbers, but they were so polite and considerate and I learned a lot about climbing from them. We were gone hiking during the day so it was not an issue for us. The would arrive around 7:30am or so and were gone by the time we returned to our campsite in the late afternoon. The campsite itself is amazing and there are no other campers within view. There is a large rock formation between site 006 and 007 and that is your closest neighbor. There is plenty of space for a large tent or several smaller tents. We only had a campfire our first night because strong winds came in the other 2 nights we were there. The site is a short walk to a restroom (no water) and to a garbage bin. Don't leave food out as ground squirrels will help themselves. We couldn't get cell service for either Verizon or T-Mobile but dropped in to the Visitor Center coming and going to our hiking trails so it wasn't an issue. We checked out all the other campsites in Indian Cove and I don't think I could have done better. And the stars at night...Wow!

A nice clean campground. Good place for mountain bikes. Every year I visit Joshua tree national park in February or March.

It is a beautiful spot to camp and walk around, taking in the amazing landscape.
The short hiking trail with descriptive signs was also wonderful. We were amazed by
all the people who were scaling the boulders. Incredible!
We highly recommend this campground and drive through Joshua Tree National Park.
