Beautiful, quiet campground with well spaced sites and plenty of rocks to explore and climb.

Really cool campground. Lots of rocks for the kids to climb around on. Amazing views of the night sky. Campground is between both park entrances so easy drive to get inside in the park or go to a visitor center. Only downside is no running water for filling water bottles, cooking, or showering. Which is pretty minor.

Be ready to bring a ear plug. Neighbor arriving at 9pm and making so much noise until 1am.

Great milky way viewing experience in Joshua Tree. Restroom (pit) was actually pretty clean and stocked up with toilet paper. Rock formations around sites 1-6 are great for some added privacy from other sites. Site 5 has a fire ring right next to a tockface wall thay creates a cool glow at the site.

The location was perfect. My kids enjoyed all the rocks around the campsite and I enjoyed the privacy. It was easy to access the park from the campground. We will be using the same park when we visit again.

Site #5 is the best! I unknowingly placed my tent in the best spot for the sunrise! Absolutely amazing feeling waking up that way. Night time was stunning and just a cool experience to see the moonlight wash over the entire area. Only "con" for me was that I didn't realize there were so many fast food places so close to the park and campsite, so it made it hard for me to want to cook at the site.

We had a great time... views were amazing. It was a bit cold but we’ll be back

Did an overnighter here. Loved the campground but had a day visitor in our reserved spot so had to wait an hour while they finished their picnic and vacated our spot. Moral of the story, plan to stay at least two nights for the best experience.
