Great campground with lots of privacy. The short but very informative nature trail nearby is a must see. Lots of interesting rock formations and nature to explore in the area.

We thought the campground was inside Joshua Tree National Park. It was just outside of it but had the charm of the park with its big boulders. I laughed that we were camping like the Flintstones in Bedrock but it really was charming and private. Even though there were other campers around, it felt private. The vault toilets were clean and well kept. I would stay here again.

Campsite #95. The best campground in all of J-Tree! Spacious, quiet and great views with the iconic rocks right there at your campsite! Though you have to drive to the park entrances about 10 miles east or west it's worth it. Campgrounds within the park are full and tiny sites with campers on top of each other. We stayed 4 nights and the campground was never full.

Nice campground. Some sites are very private, some are right on top of each other. Some vault toilets were stinky, others were fresh and nice. But the location and rocks are great.

I was wanting to go with inside the park and camp with my little guy teardrop trailer. Jombo Rocks is the only campground that you can reserve and there wasn’t availability mid-week. Indian Cove exceeded all my expectations and more. It wasn’t crowded at all, all the trash bins had been emptied. It was the sublime quiet of the desert that I absolutely love. Peaceful, perfect weather, beautiful stars with the Milky way right above me. It was cool enough for a campfire mesmerizing! I had a great time and wish I could have stayed another night but the campsite wasn’t available. I will return soon it was such a great experience.

There is no water in the utility. The place is very beautiful and very quiet.
One of my favorite places to scramble in Joshua Tree, but staying overnight is a MUST! Great campsites and amazing locations.
