Pretty campground, poor roads but fine to drive on. I stayed in site 95; which is small but feels secluded (bonus for a large campground). If you have a bigger tent (more than 1p), sites 94 and 93 were bigger and felt a bit secluded as well. Nice shade due to the rocks. I'd say most of the people were respectful, but I definitely prefer dispersed camping to campground camping any day. There were remnants from the previous tenants. Please remember LNT.

Campsite was clean, private and quiet. Road was a little rough in areas.

It's hard to tell from the map ledger what a given site is really shaped like; sites are glorious but with the short days if it I could've had afternoon sun, by being on the other side it would've been nice. Use of wifi, once there, to make changes is not reliable!

Great campground with lots of privacy. The short but very informative nature trail nearby is a must see. Lots of interesting rock formations and nature to explore in the area.

We thought the campground was inside Joshua Tree National Park. It was just outside of it but had the charm of the park with its big boulders. I laughed that we were camping like the Flintstones in Bedrock but it really was charming and private. Even though there were other campers around, it felt private. The vault toilets were clean and well kept. I would stay here again.

We arrived at 9PM, and a young couple with a Mercedes Benz SUV had squatted in our site. It was a long weekend, and reservations are made a long time out, but after fighting Los Angeles traffic jams for hours, I was taken aback at the audacity of a wealth couple squatting comfortably in a reserved spot. The weather was a challenge (JAN 2023). There was 15 MPH winds and rain. Our spot was well sheltered, but many tent sites and campers on higher spots were definitely getting tossed around. This area is pretty consistently dry, and the rock formations shelter most from the wind, so I think a good weather check before staying here is a good idea. The rock formations are a playground for children. We would see someone standing on a rock spire or climbers learning to rappel every day. The sites were mostly quiet, though a confluence of several boy scout troupes that weekend meant that there were pre-teenagers active throughout the night. The entrance to "proper" Joshua tree is nearly 18 miles away. Sites in the park are very hard to come by, so this is definitely a secondary choice. It has close proximity to stores and town, so if you aren't going for quiet seclusion or aren't prepared with supplies for several days this is a pleasant introduction to the park.

Overall, very good campground but locks on the toilets are broken, also the within the campground needs maintenance.

I like Indian cove camping better than in the park. Fewer people and very close to town. Great climbing opportunities.

Indian Cove was a fantastic spot to stop for a night of star gazing, camp fires and exploring. Had a great off the grid night with the family, only regret was not having more time to stay.

Wish the trash truck didn't come through at sunrise, but otherwise a lovely campsite.

We had a great experience. The campground was only sparsely occupied during our stay; getting to the park entrance was east, and we were glad we werent in the main campground bustle. Our site was quite tight and the road narrow, so backing in was a challenge, our 17 Casita and Audi Q5 barely fit side to side and we had to block the road to hook up. Other sites would have been easier.

Campsite #95. The best campground in all of J-Tree! Spacious, quiet and great views with the iconic rocks right there at your campsite! Though you have to drive to the park entrances about 10 miles east or west it's worth it. Campgrounds within the park are full and tiny sites with campers on top of each other. We stayed 4 nights and the campground was never full.

Clean neat campsite, other campers were well behaved, was an enjoyable one night stay. Pit toilet was clean and stocked. No ATT cell service at site 95, except late at night about 50 feet into the central area a few text messages arrived. Some cell data on the nature walk nearby.

Nice campground. Some sites are very private, some are right on top of each other. Some vault toilets were stinky, others were fresh and nice. But the location and rocks are great.

Enjoyed Indian Cove Campground! Site was in 91-100 loop. Very quiet, lots of space between sites, not too far from (CLEAN) vault toilets. Be sure to visit/enter Joshua Tree NP from the West Entrance (Hwy 62 & Park Blvd)---lots of easy to moderate hikes & scenic stops/attractions.
