Clean, well stocked restrooms, respectful neighbors, and great rock scrambling. Closer to town than jumbo rocks or other sites, so not the best for night sky viewing, but excellent other than that.

The overall campground was beautiful. However, we got there on a Friday and the trash cans were already full. We stayed until Monday and no one ever came to empty the trash can. People were starting to leave their trash bags full on the floor outside of the trash can. Our campground was right next to it so we were worried about critters going through it at night. We asked the person checking the bathrooms when someone would come to empty the trash and they didnt know. That is our only negative thing about the campground.

The campground was amazing, with a lot of areas to boulder; however, I had issues with the parking spots. Throughout my 2 day stay there were multiple times where other people would park in this site for hours. During the last night of my stay a man parked and slept in his car directly in front of my reserved site. While I did enjoy the area, I do not recommend this site to anyone who is traveling solo/will only bring one car because of this safety concern.

We are happy to camp at the Indian Cove campground even it is outside of the park.

Second location I camped in Joshua Tree. Nice hiking and climbing (though I don't climb). Lots of places to hike though you have to drive to them because the park is so huge. I look forward to camping and hiking but recommend staying at a campground farther in the park (Jumbo Rocks) closer to other hiking areas. Indian Cove is in the park but there are no roads to go further into the park without leaving and going around to one of the other entrances.

Some campers to the right of our camp were very chatty magpies past 10pm. I learned much about their personal life as Armenian attorneys. Please encourage campers to abide by the 10pm curfew.

Great camping. If it’s going to be more than 80 degrees bring shade.

We had a great trip. The pit toilet was clean, possibly due to the lack of activity BUT the campground was full.
The only negative was finding our campsite. We went around in circles till we found the map sign.

All in all it was a wonderful camping experience,
