Indian Cove campground is really beautiful, and spot 074 is right up against some gorgeous rocks. The space itself is much smaller than some others, but it had space for a 4 person tent. The campground was quiet at night, and the star gazing was incredible!

Went camping with my 11 year old and 7 year old. They met other kids and neighboring camps and had the best time climbing rocks and discovers caves and playing tag. Hanging out at the camp was enough adventure for two days. We did go on a couple of hikes in the main part of the park. Discovered the North Entrance which is great because it can take a while to drive from Indian Cove to the West Entrance. Bring plenty of sunscreen, we got a bit of sun on the first day even though it didn't feel all that hot and sunny. Can't wait to come back next year.

Absolutely beautiful campsite amongst Joshua Tree's beautiful rocks. Close to the 49 Palms trail, and away from the hubub of the main park. A great campground!

LOVE this campground! Was nice that it was so close to town. Water is also very close- about a 2 minute drive down the road to fill up. Amazing rock climbing and scrambling right in the campground. Clean bathrooms and campsite overall. Was a little worried about the size of our campsites #73 and #74 due to previous reviews, but they ended up working out perfectly. Fit 2 large vehicles at each site and plenty of room for tents. #73 had a spot for a very large tent and room for a medium sized tent also, and #74 had room for 2 medium sized tents. Nice large picnic tables at the sites and room for all our stuff! Beautiful rocks you can scramble up right behind both sites.Tip- cute little mice come out to play at night so be sure to keep food secured in bins/coolers!

I stayed here for one night, and it was amazing! I wish I had booked sooner to get multiple nights. The campsite is small and only has one place for a small tent for two peopleamazing views of the enormous boulders. Make sure to put your food away at night because small mice come out.

Gorgeous site!

Site 074 is pretty small; it only has room for one small tent. Also the firepit is way too close to the bushes so be wary of starting a fire. But other than that, I enjoyed my stay here. Site 073 and 075 was empty so I was pretty secluded in my area. Planning to come back to Indian Cove Campground again but in a different site.

Our particular campsite (spot 74) only had room for a two person tent. And only enough room for 3 people to sit comfortably by the fire. The camp sites are very close. I also did not like that there was no way to get to the park from the campsite. The best part about the camp site was the star gazing. It was in credible because the rocks block the light form the town and it gets so dark. Overall, I was happy at the site, it’s beautiful just not recommend for bigger parties.

Some people drove through the campgrounds very fast and repeatedly, kicking up a ton of dust.

The location and views were nothing short of amazing! Just wish there was a little more room between campsites but, I still thoroughly enjoyed myself!

We love this campground. Our kids (along with the adults) love to scramble/climb on the rocks right beside the campsites. It's beautiful. The spots can be a bit crowded together (only really a problem during a global pandemic) so check the map if getting a spot with more space is important to you.
