We stayed at campsite 55, we liked the spot but its a bit small and very close to neighbors. We slept in a RTT, there was not a level spot unless you pitched in parking area. The parking was very spacious and we had plenty of room between us and the neighbors. Views were amazing and our kids loved the stargazing. Very close to restrooms but they needed some attention, the smell was almost unbearable. We went into the park and used the restrooms at split rock and they smelled great compared to the ones at the campground. Other than that it was great experience, we will be back to this campground again.

Indian Cove is a great location. The campsites were fine. The nature trail that leaves from the campground is excellent. The only downside is the unpredictability of your adjacent campers who can be close. In my case, two families camped at the adjacent site and the parents stayed up past midnight talking loudly enough to disturb my sleep.

indian cove never disappoints! my favorite campground near joshua tree. site 55 was a little smaller than i expected but still enough room for your tent and everything you need. the sites were a little close together but our neighbors were quiet and respectful. i will always come back just maybe to another site for more privacy.

close to other campgrounds but the big rocks plenty of seclusion, visual privacy, and excellent atmosphere

Stunning location nestled by the great rocks with an undisturbed night sky view. Site has fire pits and immaculately clean compost toilets. You do have to exit and then entered the main park a few miles away to explore it but the site is quieter as a result

Beautiful campground and well maintained. Very small campsites and they are right next to your neighbors. Little to no privacy from one camp to the next. Even quiet conversation can be heard across the area because of the amplifying quality of the rocks. People climbs the rocks from there campsites and I did not mind that, but a lot of people would climb the rocks and find cell service and stand up above staring down at there phones and over all the campsites for sometimes over an hour. So if you are trying to relax in your camp, there is some one standing above it, directly or indirectly staring down on you.
