Perfect space against the boulders. The trash and bathrooms arent too far. I cant rate the bathrooms since we have our own. Slept in my car here and it was indeed not leveled as the detail provides lol.

Nice camp site with a spot level enough for a two or three person tent.

9/10 Pretty much had the place to ourselves! Just us, a few jack rabbits, lizards and the towering monzogranite rock formations. Not exactly flat and small area for tent but was well equipped and perfectly situated for excellent star-gazing! Only a bit of shade in the evening and early morning (at least in late August), however.

The campsite we got was perfect for our needs, and we weren't too close to any other campers. Lots of walls around the campsite for climbing.

If you're into partying. This is not a campground for you. It's quiet, well maintained and clean restaurant. My neighbors was respectful. Everyone spoke and hushed tones.Very pleasant experience!

It was pretty isolated and beautiful it was nice to walk around, climb up some rocks, and overall hang out with great people. The site alone was a little dirty, did a lot of cleaning up from the last person.

Our campgrounds #37 & 38 were clean, spacious, and fun. We have a group of rocks near us that the kids climbed. The first night gave us a weather show for the ages as we watched the western sky explode with lightning and thundering across the sky.

The campground was very well cared for. Highlights of the trip included neon glowing moss, cloud cathedral, moon rainbow, lizard stars and a warm embrace of the entire universe.

Make sure you actually walk around the campground, the rock formations are amazing and fun to climb on.
Make sure you get up early and watch the sun rise from your site.

Gorgeous location. We camped in September and even though the days were super hot, the evenings were perfect. A great spot to watch the moon/stars/etc.

The camp site was roomy, clean, and beautiful. It was very special to be nestled against the boulders. Great skywatching. Arrived at dusk, so it wasn't too hot.

Incredible landscape and the perfect place to finally reunite with my siblings. Mellow neighbors, easy access to bouldering/hikes and fairly close to town. Would definitely recommend the small flea markets on Sundays and the Joshua Tree Salon for burgers and great vibe.

Bad Timing on my part. The winds were gale force. Could not light a fire of any kind. And it was cold! Not your fault. Restrooms were clean and Rangers helpful.

Amazing campground! Outside of the park so a little quieter-- if you're arriving after dark, it's worth taking a look at the campground map to identify your site.
