Dont stay at B22 unless you enjoy a view of the bathroom and little else.

Very nice park to get away from it all. One spot in turn to rv lot needs to be repaired- huge muddy hole- but was able to get through.

What a an amazing camp ground locaiton ! I wish i could camp here for longer .
The presentation by Park Ranger Ms Yuri was very informative . Learned a lot about the Native Culture , Flora Fauana and the History. I wish to see the presentation again.
The Cottonwood Springs near this campground had the best desert flower bloom ! April is the best time to camp in Joshua tree.

First time visit to this campground for me. I wanted to hike the trails but found the trails are poorly marked. You can wander all over the desert and be guessing where the trail might be. Make sure you are wearing proper boots for this area as there are some nasty long thorns that can penetrate the soles of light or medium weight shoes! Good parking but some people won't unhook their trailers and try to park the entire rig along the road. There is ample room to pass these tandems, however.

The campsite was way to close to the bathroom, there was a constant parade of people walking by, even through , my campsite. And I even heard the toilet flush all night long.I feel like visitors to this this campsite should pay a reduced rate because of its horrible location next to the head.

This is the worst space I have ever had in a campground! Zero privacy, constant parade of people, sound of toilets flushing. I guess you are trying to maximize your space but I just couldn't believe how bad it was. This was also one of the noisiest campgrounds I've ever been in, and in an area famed for it's dark nights, half the trailers seemed to have porch lights that they left on all night. We left a day early because we couldn't take it!

This was our first visit to Joshua Tree NP. We were so impressed by the slice we were able to see in the day we had there. We will definitely be back! The Cottonwood Campground was really special for us. It's a small campground with small pull-out for RV's and vehicles. Our small travel trailer fit just fine! This is the quiet end of JTNP I think. Less people, traffic, and more on the edge of the park. The drive to the heart of the park was spectacular and we really appreciate all of the "Points of interest" provided by the park on all of the drives. The contrast between the Colorado desert and the Mojave desert was very cool to see!

The Ryan Mountain trail was beautiful, a strenuous hike but well worth it. Cottonwood campground was perfect.

Great campground with a very friendly staff! Some of the bushes needed trimming, they were overhanging campsites and walkways.

Clean Restrooms. Other considerate campers. Affordable price. Would absolutely consider camping there again in the future. Great for myself and the family. Great if you want to see the stars. Great if you want to get the family away from electronics since there is 0 cellular or data reception.
