Very nice camping spot. We had a roadside spot that was nice but would be better for camper vans with no slide outs. We were unable to put our slideout all the way out and worried about people hitting us. Even numbers are back ins and odd numbers are roadside. They park is very clean and lots of space between sites

Basic campsite with picnic table and restrooms. No place to pull a vehicle into the site. Not as dramatic as the main park or Indian Cove but still pleasant. Good hiking at Mastodon Peak or Lost Palms Oasis.

Good location near the restroom and water. It does sit on a lower elevation than other sites which we discovered allowed rain to trickle down through our tent.

We car camped and backed into the site, used the picnic table and enjoyed the stars at night while sharing the evening with a neighboring couple in an RV.

nice campground. 2nd time staying here. easy to get to and feels less busy since you're on the south side of the park. no shade what so ever so bring your awning.

Clean toilets, great night skies for star gazing, 40 mins from town if you need firewood. Sites can be too close and noisy if neighbors are inconsiderate. Overall good place to spend the night after a day of hikes and sight seeing in the park.

Beautiful campground, near the Cottonwood Springs hiking trail. Quiet, birds and jackrabbits hopping through. Campground hosts were very friendly and helpful. Only bothersome thing were the huge RV campers that used their generators each and every time the hours permitted their use. Were out exploring in the day so didn't hear it but it was annoying in the evening. Joshua Tree is a spectacular park and we loved it. Despite the generators, it's a really nice campground. Sires are pretty much separated by shrubs, nice tables and fire pit.
