What a fantastic campground! Its just unfortunate. There was so much wind, but I guess thats the lay of the land. All the facilities were in order and the host was fantastic especially on the chilly night with the big screen projecting the game. Definitely a do over. The hiking in the area was fantastic as well.

Clean site, but small. Tent was too close to fire pit to have a fire

Great spot to see stars. Noisy neighbors came by for a few hours but they didn't even stay the night. Clean facilities. The spots are pretty close together and would be nice to have showers but access to water was good enough.

The Cottonwood Campground was spotless around the campsites, bathrooms, and garbage stations. The campsite was great with plenty of space for the camper van in parking spot. Having a solid picnic table/benches was fabulous as well as the well-placed fire pit. Neighbors were noisier than I had hoped for so the close proximity of other campers was a bit challenging. However, I'd return and camp there again for sure.

One of my favorite places, Joshua Tree and Cottonwood Campground never disappoint. In spite of being a very busy time, the campsites are relatively private, the facilities clean and the views beautiful.

What a beautiful setting to camp! Facilities were excellent. The site had everything we needed and the Sunset was outstanding. We stayed in November after a day in the park. Highly recommend this campground.

We camped 1 night on 07.02.22 for our anniversary. It's a great site. Lots of privacy. If you want 2 sites get this one & #28. There's a row of bushes between the sites for privacy BUT there's a break in the bushes where you can walk between the sites. It's a great site. Close to bathrooms but not too close, nice big, flat site. Plenty of room for 2 2-4 man tents, an easy up and shower tent and still put an easy up over the picnic table. We recommend this site.

I submitted a review on this site earlier - then realized I was describing a site from the previous night on the Colorado river. Cottonwood Springs was great, but the kayaking wasn't as good as I described! Not much kayaking in Joshua Tree, sorry about that.

It would be a 5 start but first night we were there, a person came by and told about all the dog rules. Just invaded our space, was camping for 5 weeks before at state parks, never got the leasture. I know the rules. Very nice place other then that.
