Lovely

Very good campground. Just some limited space for bigger tents and the coyotes can be loud at night. But overall a great experience.

Beautiful, clean campsite. Be mindful of the coyotes and the heat. Soap in the bathroom would be nice.It would also be helpful if rangers did some passes in the night. There was a rowdy group and another group with a fire even though fires were banned.

Beautiful park. Sites could be upgraded and enlarged at some point, but I understand that it was developed long before RV's were the sizes that they are now.

Wonderful location to tent camp. The drive around Joshua Tree National Park was amazing! Loved the exhibit/informational pull offs. Loved that you could walk marked trails or just sit back from your vehicle and see the beautiful scenery.

Calm quiet campsite away from all the crowds in the northern part of the park. Site is big enough for 3 tents. Fantastic stargazing opportunity. Lost oasis hike is nearby and a great hike within the park.

Campground was awesome. Noisy campers in other space with no ranger to enforce made it a sleepless night

Basic campground with flush toilets. I was very happy to have a site with "parallel parking" so I didn't have to back my trailer in the dark.

Stayed here a number of times. Quiet and much less busy than Jumbo Rocks. Large sites, very clean bathrooms, can hike to the Oasis and Mastodon Peak from the campsites. Best night sky in the park. Would absolutely come again.

Campsites were tight for a 24' trailer, but well spaced for a National Park. It had very nice bathrooms.

Clean campground surrounded by awesome desert views. Close to Cottonwood Springs trail and Visitors Center. A bit unclear check-in process. All in all a very memorable dry camping experience. Our campsite provided adequate parking space for our camper and tow vehicle and had great private space for picnic table and fire ring Loved Cottonwood.

Campground is very nice, and what you'd expect at Joshua Tree. Just note that some of the sites are like pullouts on the highway, and some have an actual spur/road like a normal campsite. We reserved ours late, and got one of the pullouts. Wasn't bad, but would have preferred a traditional campsite. Just take note when you reserve. Also note that this is on the extreme south end of the park, and most stuff is north. Not a big deal, and still a beautiful area.

Beautiful views, great trail starting right from the campground, really clean bathrooms. Only issue was a few guys two sites down talking and laughing rather loudly until 1 am.

A "true" getaway. No internet, cellphone, tv, radio - absolutely no contact with the outside world. Stayed 8 days "off the grid" and loved it.
