Cherry Glen had lovely sites with ample room. The restrooms were very clean. Staff was present during the day, it was unclear exactly where they were as some sites marked as hosts did not have people who were there - just their campers. It would be great if there was information at the office, even if it was posted outside, who was actually physically present as a host. I am a single woman and feel more comfortable with a host available.

As always, the property is kept clean and neat. The facilities are up to date and clean as well. I started using Cherry Glen over 30 years ago and will continue to stay there whenever Im in the area.

Our site had a great view of the lake. Nice level spot. Close enough to showers. Restrooms were very clean. Will definitely return.

Not as beautiful as most corps campgrounds. Old electric posts.

always clean, shady sites (so much so that I could not use Starlink), and close enough to civilization to get needed supplies.

Great views of Saylorville Reservoir from our site. Deer, bald eagles and a huge variety of birds.
Secluded, but close to Ankeny and Des Moines. We stay here when we visit our DMACC and ISU kids.
Campground is very clean. Sites are not on top of each other.
