Our site was awesome the first week. But the second week we were in site #56. Its very close to the road and not much privacy

As always, the restroom facilities were always clean. We were welcomed at our campsite and had our pass verified. There was several days of rain and strong winds and the crew there were constantly working on clean up. Hauling tree branches and debris off roads and bike path. We enjoy the large shady sites. The tv stations on antenna are sparse and internet coverage is minimal at best. We don't subscribe to any internet service other than Verizon. Phone calls worked, text messages were hit and miss. We will be back as the positives are enjoying the outside. We enjoy the well maintained bike path as well.

Stayed in slot 19 next to the river.Very nice and spacious, across from camp host assistant. The only draw back was all the bugs and mosquitoes.

Love the campground at Howell Station! Have camped in all loops of the campground, most recently in the prairie loop. This loop is quiet and peaceful. Very well cared for grounds, paths, and bathrooms. Ample volunteer attendants and other staff. Its on the bike trail, can bike through all the other campgrounds, A great huge lake for kayaking! Great walking trails!Be sure to visit the nearby Red Rock visitor center!

I've stayed at Howell Station every summer for the last 20 years. Always clean and well-maintained. Located at Red Rock so there is nearby fishing, boating and swimming. The bike trail runs right through Howell Station.
Located 5 miles from Pella and 10 miles from Knoxville so there is much to do in the area.

The place was clean and gravel was good. The only thing negative would be the lack of grass mowing and a little more gravel at the dump station would be nice, other than that, experience was great!!!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
