We loved everything about our stay in this beautiful campground. The sites are very spacious and well kept. There were lots of trees providing sufficient shade for the 90+ temperatures we had. Showers and restrooms were clean. Our site was right by the river, close to the pedestrian bridge, and we enjoyed afternoon and evening strolls along the trail or across the bridge. Just be aware that internet coverage is very poor, we always had to walk on the bridge to get at least 2 or 3 bars. ;-)

You know you have found the right place to camp time and time again when the park is full and it is still enough room to spare for privacy. And the walking paths! Wow. So the grass doesn't meet golf-course standards, but the kids and family pets don't care. Shower/bathroom facilities are kept super clean throughout the day. The staff are soooo friendly and helpful. I'll be back, Howell Station.

You know you have found the right place to camp time and time again when the park is full and it is still enough room to spare for privacy. And the walking paths! Wow.
