Always love this park. Quiet and lots of room between campsites. Staff was very nice. The only complaint we have is the mowing. The grass was too long, dandelions tall and everywhere.

Weve camped at Wallashuck and Howell station this summer. Were leaning toward HS as our favorite because we like to park along the outside rows close to the trail so our grandson a can ride his bike. Weve enjoyed those parks cuz you have lots of space between sites. The Only negative is cell phone service (US Cellular) sucks I know youre supposed to be enjoying the whole camping & nature experience but sometimes you need to be on your phone. I wish something could be done about Wi-Fi or cellular towers. I also noticed that instead of having just one big shower in the womens bathrooms at Howell they did divide them into 2 stalls. Which is a lot better to accommodate more people. Thanks to all the Camp Host that keep the parks clean. The people at Howell were very friendly.
