Suger Bottom campground is on the beautiful Coralville Lake just outside of Solon, Iowa. A nice large COE park 300 + sites on paved roads we got a nice pull through hard packed gravel with 30 & 50 amp power service with water. We can see the lake thought the trees. We have good 3-4 bar T-mobile wi-fi. Super clean and well maintained park and campground. With 2 dump stations and a recycling center There is a mix of sites some have 30 & 50 amp power , water, & sewer with concrete pads. The road coming up to the campground is a little steep and windy in places but very doable, we got the 42 387FLF Durango Gold up here no sweat

Site 57 doesn't have enough grass between it and the road. Bathrooms could have been cleaner. Mowers were obnoxious...loud, mowing right while people were starting to cook out or early before many people were up.

Loved the campground and surrounding area. Removed 1 star because our campsite wasn't nearly as good as many others. Excellent, clean bathouses. We'll return!

Host woman was a bit snarky at check-in but chilled out eventually. Beautiful grounds. More signs for exit would be helpful. Love that there is recycling and many trash bins. Very clean. Utilities work well. Site level. Too many campers left behind smoldering fire rings all days.

We stayed just two nights but sites were clean and level. The hike uphill to the washrooms was a good wake-up walk. Be aware that water is not available at each site so you might want to fill up your tank before you hook up by searching out available spigots. The woman who manages the campground must have spent her life building the mountain of firewood. It was IMPRESSIVE!

Nice COE campground. Not sure what the flying insects were, but they were pretty annoying. Just an overnight stay on our way to Minnesota. Would stay here again.
