We always love camping at Sugar Bottom! Beautiful campground with plenty to do right there but so much more in the nearby towns. Love the multiple playgrounds, beach, and bike trails. They also have great ranger programming!

Had an issue with loud disrespectful and verbally abusive site neighbors. The five accompanying children were toddlers in diapers to a nine year boy who also was verbally abusive to the toddlers. The campground was mostly empty and all we were requesting was to move to an other site. This was our last night at this campground. Our respectful request was answered with aggression and window slammed in our face. We were then yelled at through the window and were told to get another site. We feel that the campground host at the entrance gate did not properly handle the situation and could use some schooling on how to handle delicate situations. Thanks for listening, we love the Corp of Engineers.

Weve been going to Sugar Bottom for years. Weve been increasing disappointed in the beach area. The geese have taken over and there is zero cleanup being done. The beach isnt raked and makes me not want to go back

The campgrounds are wonderful, right on the river and many other great fishing spot nearby. Only suggestions I have are, there needs to be water hookups and sewer hookups at more campsites if there arent any available at all, and getting WIFI for the smart tvs and for people who have to do work on laptops while on a camping trip. The cell service is very limited for many places so WIFI would help greatly.

We love coming there every year. It is clean and people are friendly. It is only 2 hrs to get there so we love getting away there.

We had a wonderful two night stay. Its one of the best campgrounds weve ever stayed at. Very quiet, well maintained, lots of elbow room between sites. Lots of nice shade trees. We hope to return soon.

Nice campground. Our Site wasnt very level. Had to raise front of trailer several inches to get level. Had electricity but no water. Dump stations large and easy to get too. Would stay there again.

We were in site #181. The people that checked into site #180 (they moved from site #176) on Thursday night parked there camper sideways in the site. They were there most os the week (Site #176). We could not sit out at our fire due to being able to witness ALL their drama and profanity! It was probably one of the worst camping experiences we have had. They kept their boat in the water all week. And even had it out pulling skiers until it was way too dark to be out in a boat with skiers. We LOVE Sugarbottom and the sites by the water. It seems to be lately that more and more disrespectful people are staying there. I know you don't have a choice as to who stays there or not. It just wasn't our turn to have a relaxing stay.

I just used PerfectCamp.com to book six consecutive August nights at the most popular campsite in one of the most popular campgrounds in Humboldt Redwoods State Park in California. That is not anything I could have accomplished anywhere else with the ease I did here! Thank you, PerfectCamp! I LOVE this site! You will find me on several other camping sites but the design, format, functionality, and personality of this the best. It’s fresh and clean.

@Wondering - Oregon

Wow! Woke up this morning to a notification that a favorite had opened at Paulina, and when I went to check, it was there. This membership just paid for itself in the first 24 hours I owned it. Couldn't take the site it conflicted with a trip already set, but it truly was there. Thanks Tons.

@CarlaLThompson - Colorado

I just love this site and I tell everyone about it! It's so competitive to secure desired campsites and the alerts really help track when sites free up. The best part of this story is our alert notified a cancellation the next day!!!!!! Just incredible!!!
