We have been to West Overlook often and were very disappointed in the new bathroom/shower facilities. There were piles of dirt and mud surrounding them, muddy floors inside, and the floor drains did not work, so water flooded the entire 8x8 room while showering. Theres also a very small area to put belongings, so theres not enough room to sit to dress while keeping things off the flooded floor. In the campground , there have been very little NEEDED improvements (the shower houses were NOT needed). Many campsites need new rock (ours was a mud hole), dead trees need to be taken down (there was one by our site that could have fallen in the storm), sites that were updated last year or earlier have not been reseeded, and electric boxes dont work (our neighbors needed to plug in to another sites box). We also noticed the lack of staff monitoring excessive dog-barking. Years ago we were reprimanded for our radionow they let much more noise slide.

Very nice campground well maintained. We had a fun time at the beach and checking out the dam.
