Absolutely beautiful campground and so well managed! bathrooms are spotless with running water and flushing toilets. Camp sites were super tidy and even raked before we arrived. Its in an incredible location - do check out the trailhead at the end on McGee Creek Road - it's stunningly beautiful. Also do be prepared for windy afternoons, stake your tent, tack down your table cloth, and fold up your chairs if you go out for the day, if you don't you may be hunting for your chairs in the creek!

Good spot to set your tent for the evening. Not a lot of tree cover. Great surrounding views. Would recommend bringing some sort of shade as even the table coverings wont give you enough shade.

Our RV trailer did not fit in our designated spot despite saying it would on the website. Very remote, limited resources area. Wound up having to park on the side of the road next to the campsite for the night. The camp host was very nice, professional and apologetic.

Camp was what we were looking for. Simple, uncrowned, clean bathrooms, quiet. The individual sites were perfect size for our tent and the sun cover over the table was perfect. Our only issues were the slow drive up the hill and the fast flow of the creek when we were there, both no fault of anyone. No issues, but we want to try other places (this was our first ever trip to the area) so not likely to stay again. But enjoyed everything about it.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time in Aug2019. We enjoyed the campground for several reasons. It's close to a river, has a variety of campsite environments, has sun shields over the tables, and has flush toilets. It's also far enough from Hwy 395 that there isn't much vehicular traffic except that from fellow campers. Camp host was very conscious about the impact campers and crowds from LA have on the campground and camping experience (be aware during the "fall colors" rush because day-trippers will litter and walk through your campsite in order to get a perfect photo). We forget her name, but we hope the concessionaire returns her to this campground. Piped water was easy to access.
