We had a trip planned for three nights at Rock Creek Lake. We were snowed out with such bad snow, it collapsed our tent and there was nobody around. We were hoping to be refunded due to the weather, however, no compensation was offered.

Great campground and camp hosts! Loved that they were proactive and left a 5gal bucket at every site to drown out campfires. It's cold up here at night even in the middle of the summer, lots of people making campfires even first thing in the morning.

Really great experience. I can't praise enough to all including national park staff, rangers who work hard so that we can enjoy nature. For anybody planning to hike up, just be prepared. Hike is moderate.

The campground is well located by the lake with a pleasant hike up the creek nearby. Sites by the lake shore or along the creek are best, of course. Bathrooms were clean and easily available.

Hands down one of the most amazing campsites we have been to thus far in our adventures.
