A better description of sites is needed. As reserved #25 for or trailer. The angle was too steep to use. Manager not around to assist. Ended up in a site that worked for us, though challenging. Location excellent on the creek easy access to trail heads.

We like the campsite. it is clean and spacious with a spot grated for tent. You can hear the sound of the creek from the site.

Love this campground. The tent pads are on the small side and the road is rough so it's not really an RV place. The driveway is not level but should fit 2 cars. The tent pad should fit a 8P but over that is pushing it. No water, but there is water two campgrounds (maybe 2 miles) down the road. FYI, now bears have not been spotted this year according to the Host (who was wonderful). Oh - clean restrooms.

Camp site very clean even the restrooms. There’s a store in the next campground like 5 minutes walking. They have BBQ on Saturdays. For $15 dollars a day they provide you with Wifi. Campsites 25 to 30 are closer to the creek.

I wanted a campground that took reservations, so I made a reservation at Big Pine Creek campground since my favorite campground does not take reservations. When we got there we could not find Site 25 because the signage was so bad. When we finally found it after driving over the worst road we have ever encountered in a campground the site was impossible to park in. I'm not sure we could ever level our trailer because of the slope of the site. We went to the camp host for assistance, but he was gone for the afternoon. So we went down the road & found a lovely spot at Sage Flat Campground. This campground needs work! The road needs a lot of work. New signs need to be put up. And the sites need to be leveled. I will never camp there, ever.

I was nervous about our trip because I read another review that stated the bathrooms were a mess and there was no water anywhere, even in the creeks. I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Yes it was quite an adventure getting there. You have to drive up a VERY steep grade with cliff on one side hill on the other. Our car did almost over heat. However when you do get there It is breath taking. The campsites are clean and they even have a spot grated for your tent. There is no portable water so make sure you bring your own. There is a store close buy if you run out though. The restrooms are clean, and the sound of the rushing water from the stream is very relaxing. Yes there are bears. We had one go though our site, and saw another one when we went for a walk. There is hiking to some beautiful lakes if your up for the challenge. Just know that is is all up hill to get to them. All in all I can't wait to go back.
