Camp manager was amazing and bathrooms were very clean and attended too. Very close to trailhead and creek. Would return 100%

Awsom! Camping! Don't worry about haling water. Stop one mile before and fill at sage camp. No water here.

The campground host at Big Pine Creek Campground is most effective. It is pristine and the host is always available to answer questions. Vistas are gorgeous, access to the Big Pine Lakes trailhead is close enough to walk to. Sunrise over the hills are lovely and evenings are peaceful.

First time to Big Pine Creek campgrounds. Didn't know what to expect, but it turned out to be a great place to camp out. Most of the campsite have a separate place to pitch your tent that is spacious.... Make sure you bring a pop-up for some shade. Due to the drought there is was NO water. Good thing for us we packed both drinking and general use water. We stayed 4 days and brought 5 gallons of each. If we stayed 5 days we would've had enough water to last. Hiking to the lake wasn't too bad of someone who's not in shape. We happen to pick a warmer month (August) to hike, but it wasn't warm enough to the point we hated it. New time we'll better plan and get permits so we can stay up at the lakes. Happy camping and hiking everyone!

Beautiful campground, really well maintained. And the hiking North fork of Big pine creek is superb!

Our stay was absolutely perfect. This is one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed in. It was mellow and quiet, right along a creek, and we could walk straight from our campsite to the trailhead. When we wanted to keep to ourselves, we stayed in our site; when we wanted to interact with folks or buy something, we could walk a quarter mile to Glacier Lodge. Once we parked our camper, we never had to move it for four days. A perfect combination of being removed and being able to access things when we needed them. Great views, too! A terrific experience.

Closest site to do Big Pine lakes hike. Has a nice creek running thru it. Easier hikes to Sage CG from site 17. We stayed on site 15 which was roomy and close to bathroom, site 22 might be the best site with creek views so as soon as we got home I booked #22 to attempt to do the whole lakes hike in September. Winds can be an issue, one night our neighbors lost their canopy, so please stake your items down. The blues skies I have ever seen during the day, There is a fish pond in nearby Glaciers’ Lodge, loved seeing the labs enjoy their swim there. There is no water as on 2021, but lan ahead. Nearby Sage campground & Glacier Lodge have water.
