Excellent campground, when we came we found deers within! There are showers and correct restroom. There where also selling timber, which was important cause in mid-October it was cold (below zero during the night).1h drive to the west Yosemite entrance.

Met family here and had a great visit. We had two days reserved at Reversed Creek CG and cancelled due to poor conditions there and a site not suitable for RV (#5). We found two single nights at Silver Lake for the first two nights then into our reservation in site 51. Excellent views, very clean and quiet. Easy to launch kayaks from the campground.

Stunningly beautiful spot right across from a scenic hike up to a lake in the mountains. Definitely had breezy nights, so pack extra warm clothes and be sure to secure the tent well.
