We spent a little over a week at Oh Ridge Campground. The site was clean and spacious. We had plenty of space for the vehicles and camping activites in our site. The area is scenic and trees are plentiful and shrubs abound. The squirrels, jays and deer are frequent visitors and the Mono Lake Gulls wheel overhead. Oh Ridge is close to the June Lake Village with a convenient grocery store, eateries, sporting and souvenir outlets. All the lakes in the Loop, June, Gull, Silver and Grant are within an easy drive. The June Lake Beach is close by with plenty of space for picnicing and access to water play and water sports. Oh Ridge is a great place to relax and kick back and enjoy the views. But, also there is much to do around Oh Ridge, geocaching, hiking, fishing, and horseback riding. It is an easy drive to all the lakes in the Loop to enhance your stay. Close by to the South, is Mammoth with plenty of amenities, if you require. To the North is Mono Lake and its tufa towers. And just beyond Mono Lake is the delightful village of Lee Vining with shops, restaurants and the Mono Cone ice cream stand. Above Lee Vining is the California State Historic Park of Bodie, the jewel of the Eastern Sierra mining camps. Bodie was the largest mining town in the area and in its state of "arrested decay," is a great place to visit and see what a mining town was really like. Beyond Bodie is the town of Bridgeport with it's County Courthouse, Schoolhouse Museum and delightful Bridgeport Inn where Mark Twain once stayed. The restaurant there has an excellent quality menu. Oh Ridge is a great place to visit and from which to explore the glories of the Eastern Sierras.

Loved the deer walking through the campground. Campsites are good sized. I only wished there were showers. The showers at the resort nearby were out of order. Also, generators going on at 6:00 am were a problem for some of my family members.
