Campsites were great but they've implemented a $10 cash fee to park at the beach parking lots. This fee is required even if you have a campsite reservation. The concessionaires are limiting access to the public unfairly. They aren't even managing the parking situations correctly. We left the beach to shuttle our party and equipment back and forth and told the staff that we would be right back to pick up more people and equipment. There were at least 6 parking spots still open. Upon return, they wouldn't let us back in, cleaning that there was no parking available and we had to walk a whole bunch of stuff back to the campsite. They're we're still several parking spots open and they still kept a line of cars outside waiting because of their ignorance and poor management. We'll probably look for somewhere else to camp for our annual trip if the beach access isn't opened up to the public again without having to pay these third parties.

Always a beautiful place. Office staff is super friendly and helpful.

This is a beautiful place surrounding by mountains and the sound of the Blue Jays and other creatures. I love the peaceful time I had in May 2021. You must make a reservation otherwise it is difficult to get a space during weekends.
